Hi! I’m Baden, a PhD qualified educator with strong ties to industry. In addition to my day job as the Director of Bond University’s Commercialisation Centre, I lead the Startup Community Leaders Missions for Startup Catalyst to Silicon Valley, Boulder and Israel and play support role to my wife in our veterinary business Pet Wellness Centres. I contribute to my regional entrepreneurial ecosystem as a hackathon facilitator, mentor to startups and startup founders, consultant to corporates, commentator in the media, and conference speaker on disruption and innovation’s impact on our economy. I also host a range of events including Ideas Camp for secondary school students, Startup Weekends, and Gold Coast Demo Day showcasing the best and brightest entrepreneurs across all levels of the Gold Coast community.
