First asked to teach the Entrepreneurial Finance course in 2004 as an industry-based lecturer, Baden has become the Head of Entrepreneurship at Bond University. In this role, he is responsible for curriculum design and assurance of learning, as well as numerous teaching-related activities. Alongside these academic endeavours, he is the Director of the Bond Business Commercialisation Centre and a Staff Ordinary Member of the University where his influence leads to the advancement of entrepreneurship education both within and beyond the University. He is the recipient of several University and National awards for teaching excellence and engagement, and is an active contributor to the broader community.
The Bond Business Commercialisation Centre builds tomorrow’s innovative thought leaders, one by one. Focused on engagement across and beyond campus, The BBCC has two main goals: 1. To increase the employability of Bond University graduates, both as future employees of existing firms (intrapreneurs) and as entrepreneurs creating new business ventures, and 2. To contribute to the strength of the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem by encouraging collaboration and disseminating leading-edge knowledge. The BBCC combines Bond Business School resources with expertise from off-campus to ensure the relevance of its operations. It achieves its goals in two main ways: 1. Providing expertise in the design and delivery of the experiential education components of the subjects offered by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and 2. Developing and delivering workshops, programs and events which foster entrepreneurship and innovation that reach across and beyond campus.

Our belief is that happy and healthy pets contribute to human wellness, which in turn benefits the entire community. Ditterich Agriculture increases margins for crop farmers by providing a complete solution for the analysis and management of grain stocks on farm, reducing the need for intermediaries in the grain sales process. A patent application covering many aspects of the solution has been lodged and the initial MVP is in the hands of customers.

Retirement Housing and Medical Facilities: Preference, Proximity and Price.
The thesis examines the impact of proximity to medical facilities on the price of retirement housing in Australia. Research in the field of gerontology consistently shows proximity to medical facilities to be a significant driver of choice for residential location decisions of retired persons. The study quantifies the price effect of increased proximity to different categories medical facilities and identifies implications for government, industry and consumers.
