It was an honour to represent the academic community as a keynote speaker at the 2018 Myriad Innovation Festival in Brisbane. I took the opportunity to state my case for change to our national curriculum: to embed experiential entrepreneurship education into our education system such that EVERY Australian child enters the workforce with elevated entrepreneurial capability. My argument? If we are to develop an innovation-based economy we need an entrepreneurial workforce, and our education system is the most effective method to deliver on this at scale.
